Due to the limited amount of awards available, earning a medal status does not guarantee you will earn that cash award amount. All cash awards are taxable. Please consult with your tax advisor on any potential impact a cash award may have on your paycheck.

To be eligible for a cash award, you must be a regular-class employee participating in the County of Ventura's Flexible Benefits Program and receive a paycheck during the payout period on October 31, 2025. A second payout date in March 2026 will be available to those on leave of absence at the time of the first payout.
